Kakavaberd fortress (also known as Geghi Berd – ‘the village fortress’) (9-13cc) is situated in Khosrov reserve. Besides the towers and walls you can also see a medieval church within the fortress near which there are (there were) 5 huge dragon stones (worshipped by pagans in ancient times) with the depiction of bulls and birds. -
